SALINAS EDUARDO ROZAS (SALAHI)

SALINAS EDUARDO ROZAS (SALAHI)

Born in Iquique (Chile). Her earliest memories relate to the fans of their parents: drawing and modeling. So early as in the beginning was a game, became his vocation.

He began his formal art training with Stone Art School of the University of Chile. Later he completed his studies with classes in painting at the School of Fine Arts University.

In 1976, he won first prize for Crafts awarded by the Ministry of Education (EDUPROF) and the following year, won first prize in the sculpture given by the same ministry.

He is passionate about what he does and passes it to his countless disciples, who daily visit his workshop. Even before had lectured in training courses for teachers of Technical Manual and Manual Arts in Santiago, Chile, until 1986.

Is always looking for and discovering new forms of artistic expression to those who print their personal style. This year has taken up oil painting.

Numerous exhibitions. He has edited and contributed to various art magazines. He has given national and international seminars.

Countless works of his are scattered around the world signed with the pseudonym "Salahi."
